People were implying that this insider purchase meant big news coming on Thursday during the CC. It doesn't sound like you're implying that, which is good. That would indicate trading on material nonpublic information (e.g., big news info). (this involves my line of legal work by the way)
As I said, it shows an insider (director) is putting his money where his mouth is, which is excellent and indicates confidence in the company. Pretty sure we're in agreement here.
