Re: Evil Rabbit #63875
“This is a two-bit article on Cytodyn so until we hear from the horse's mouth what our enrollment pace and numbers look like to-date, we should be hesitant to crunch the math and reach for a blankie.”
ER....Not sure if you read the article or not, but NP is directly quoted a few times and there’s no indication his quotes are from a PR, the CC or a different interview.
Additionally, at the end of the article, the writer noted that 58 more patients are needed until the 2nd interim analysis can take place:
“CytoDyn received its positive news from the DSMC early last week and is looking to enroll rapidly the 155 patients needed to complete its study as well as the 58 more to have the next DSMC evaluation of the unblinded data.”
IMO, this article appears the be accurate in regards to current enrollment (235) or the S/C trial. NP is quotes a few times, there’s a reported increase in the S/C trial and the increase is consistent with the most recent enrollment rate. Enrollment has been slow over the past 2 months, so this not new information and I think most expected it until the U.K. and other sites can start enrolling.
