No one claimed the sky is falling. Blafarm and others are simply calculating when the 2nd interim analysis could potentially be completed. The common denominators are the 42 days after enrollment of the 293 patient and another 14 days after that for analysis of the data. So we know that at a minimum the interim analysis won’t be available until a minimum 56 days from yesterday. That’s December 17th. When you consider that as of yesterday we need 63 patients to reach 293, then that timeline gets pushed further back. If NP fulfills his goal of enrolling all 63 patients in 4-6 weeks. the interim data, at its earliest, will be available mid-Jan or early February.
In terms of financing, a raise is coming. NP has been creative in the past. He needs $27 million minimum plus operating costs. The most recent Fife deal will be retroactive converted to the price of this raise, but that was a risk that NP was willing to take back in June.
