Short term steroids are very safe and are given to a wide variety of patients on a daily basis at the primary care, urgent care, ER, ICU and specialty care level. In fact, there are studies showing that a 10-28 day taper of steroid for ARDS patients reduces ventilation days and mortality. So tell me why giving steroids to the President, who appears to have a mild/mod case of COVID, is harmful?
Simply reading the side effects of a drug doesn’t mean those side effects are present in each patient who receives them.
