Yes Respert 24, that's exactly it. Doctors have to be reminded several times the efficacy of a new drug until the light bulb goes on in their respective minds. That sometimes takes several visits to their offices but eventually it sinks in.
Or, they hear about new products or molecules from another Doctor who tried it and they say try it, it worked for my patient and that is when you start to campaign the product through advertising in journals etc.
Takes a lot of time and the more connections one has the more it advances to the minds of new people and new doctors. Rome was not built in a day but each day that a person is reminded of that new product or molecule the more likely they are to buy it or use it themselves - GLTU
