I heard an NPR podcast in which they documented that the plastics industry, knowing that they couldn't recycle plastic, pumped money into convincing people to recycle so that they would feel inclined to continue to buy plastic goods.
Big tobacco did similar shit to keep people smoking.
Big oil did the same shit and now the phucking planet is getting much hotter than it might have without human influence.
Big pharma is doing the same shit with CYDY and other small innovations that could improve peoples' lives and ease suffering.
Just keeping things in perspective. If CYDY breaks thru EVEN when in a phucking pandemic, the Company should commission a unicorn statue to be displayed in the lobby of their headquarters.
