Thanks for the IPO feedbacks. This is the first IPO I have been involved with and find the experience bewildering. As for Joe’s phraseology, including last week’s postings, it is one thing to express one’s innermost thoughts to a confidant, and another in a public forum. Especially in a textual format where written records never disappear. I like Cody’s explanation of “in the coming days”. Unfortunately, few on this board, let alone the public in general, are familiar with Joe’s personal mannerisms. So we can only interpret his statements in the context of our own experiences. Obviously many here see “in the coming days” literal, creating contentious posts. Perhaps Joe should take a more business prevalent terminology for his public communications and save the personal correspondence to private messaging. I, for one, will not thing any lesser of him for communicating less in a folksy (I’m your buddy) manner and more in a “I’m the CEO” and will use “legalese” speech.
