Good morning everyone. I have been following this board since 2018, but I am not one who typically posts on boards or social media. I am posting to see if I can get some more information on the possible long haulers trial. It has been difficult to weed through all of the posts in the past day, but I believe the call last mentioned that a long hauler trial would be moving forward. Was that in addition to the possible P3 trial, or was that a part of it?
I ask because including myself, there were 8 members of my family who all tested positive for covid-19 in late July. Unfortunately, by the time I had reached out to cytodyn, the m2m trial had already been closed. We had a range of symptoms, extending from feeling tired for only one day to phenomena, which I ended up getting as a result of my covid infection. I think it’s important for people to understand that we all still have underlying symptoms. Most of us still deal with the fatigue, and I still have a shortness of breath. One of my siblings has still not gained their full sense of taste and smell. I also have a grandparent who was infected at the same time, and she has continued to feel hot all of the time, even during the cooler temperatures we now have where I live. We would all be interested in this trial because we have no other options. I would be interested to learn more about the science and theory of leronlimab for this indication if someone has the info or a post to reference. Thanks!
