By AR2 I'm guessing your referring to the IFN receptor AR2. If that's the case a receptor needs ligand to bind to it to have any effect. The ligand of most effect is IFN gamma, which we already know is downregulated by CCR5 blockade.

CCR5 also has an effect on RAS.
