With due respect to Dr. Lalezari's political correctness, he talks nonsense. I wonder if he ever heard of The Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology and their adenoviral vector-based vaccine platform. Their P2 clinical trials was very successful, with Putin's own daughter among the volunteers and the vaccine received the Russian equivalent of our EUA to be used only by the Defense Ministry. P3 began on Aug 13 and only if successful the vaccine will be approved for general population.
