No, if that's the impression you got from my comment, then I apologize for not being more clear.
I was saying that all Dr. Patterson said was that he and CytoDyn received an email from Operation Warp Speed, not that they had applied for it or that anything was officially moving forward. He simply confirmed that a conversation took place. This WSJ palooka used a blatant distortion of the comments to "investigate further", and discovered that indeed OWS is not considering an application that does not exist. So of course the shorts jump all over that.
