You have to admit that plasma is easier to produce....if you have freshly recovered COVID-19 patients that donate. Run out of those and then you start running out of treatment.
So, in a few years when another novel coronavirus starts tearing through the population....gotta let people get sick, and possibly die, so that we can harvest new plasma specific to the antibody.
Not what I would call a forward thinking approach. Many donors may be ineligible to donate due to their own health conditions - e.g. HIV, hepatitis, Zika, Lyme, etc

Lots of usage of words like .... "trend" and "signal"....not a very convincing argument that it's a fail safe solution.
I've got my money on Leronlimab S/C results.
