On the surface, BP is always going to market themselves as the good guy. Look at the commercials they produce to promote their drugs. They are always severely overproduced to the point where the actors appear to have reached a nirvana state by ingesting their drug. My point here is that marketing constitutes a significant portion of BP spend.
Why is it so hard to imagine that they wouldn’t deploy marketing budget towards keeping competitors down? It would appear to be their duty to do so to protect their own SP from declining in the future, even 5-10 years down the road.
Do you really think in the battle between drugs, the safest, most effective drug always wins? That’s the message I get from your post.
