I respectfully disagree.
Let's say another country or countries want to buy the out current drug stock. Trump then invokes the Defense Production Act. He authorizes a check to CYDY, the US gets the drug and CYDY gets a one time payment. The drug gets warehoused, as approval has not yet happened here.
Meanwhile, the other countries realize that they can't actually get the drug so the orders and approvals stop with them. That puts us right back in the same boat, being dependent on the FDA. I for one am less than fine with that.
