Thanks for articulating how significant this trial was and what confidence it took.
Leronlimab is the immunomodulator, which by its nature is expected to have less effect when the immune system is not profoundly dysregulated.
Showing an impactful clinical effect (decrease in NEWS score, AEs and SAEs) with statistical significance in a small population of only mild/moderately ill patients is simply amazing.
As we all know the effect seen in the critically ill patients through the EINDs, severe/critical CD12 will be the "home run" that Dr. Lalezari could not quite commit to predicting today.
Bruce Patterson is quite certain of what he observed in EIND and what we can expect in CD12.
Better days lie ahead in the battle to take back our lives from Covid.
