Agreed. Another article that I had located earlier went into detail about there being 3 levels of meetings, the first including blinded data with a representative from each enrollment center, and then the subsequent meetings with the DSMC.

Point being that there was a process in which they asked questions, requested additional data, clarification, etc. I expect that may take some time, but I dont know for sure.
