I hope board moderators will excuse this re-post from an Ihub member whose thoughts I share 100% but lack his eloquence .
MY LONE WORRY:
I am not worried about the performance of Leronlimab in clinical trials - I believe it will prove beyond doubt that it is both safe and highly effective. I am also not worried about Nadar Pourhassan’s machinations as CEO. We all exhaustively acknowledge his shortcomings regarding PR and being overwhelmed as a small shop leader of an emerging potential biomed titan. I can even endure ridiculously criminal short activity - morally reprehensible as that is.
The only thing that keeps me up at night is CORRUPTION. Can CytoDyn prevail over BP lobbying? Can CytoDyn get any major media outlet to tout them for their HIV and EIND success in the immediate future? Will CytoDyn find support in the White House or will the COVID Task Force (Gilead centric), BARDA, the FDA and the DSMB be honest in the evaluations of our trials? Will Operation Warp Speed support us? Will politicians FOR ONCE do the right thing and not sacrifice human lives for their own personal gain? CAN ANYONE IN POWER ANYWHERE BE FOR REAL ABOUT THE INCREDIBLE BREAKTHROUGH THAT LERONLIMAB IS?
I am sure you all can read my frustration in this post. As a large investor, I have been worried about the financial risk I have taken with CytoDyn. But now I sit up at night feeling terrible for people who could have been saved by this drug if it only got the daylight it deserves. I imagine how I would feel if I caught COVID and couldn’t get Leron knowing it could save my life. These thoughts are damning to the country we live in. FRAUD and CORRUPTION prevail no matter where we look in our society. It’s demoralizing.
I hope Leronlimab wins soon. This whole country needs truth, hope and kindness like never before, and it’s becoming an existential imperative. I’ve served my country, worked a long career (now failing), have a beautiful family, am learning the joy of raising two sons and lived more adventure than I could ever imagine.. But this investment in CYDY has forced me to look hard at the the United States today and its prospects going forward. I am sobered by what I see. I pray Leronlimab gets its due in the coming days. If it does I will be my enduring focus to leverage my success to help people and this country in the most effective way I know how...
