A few thoughts:
1. The s/c trial is a 2b/3 "registrational" trial. NP has stressed this a few times now. That means if the results are good, it would be sufficient for the FDA to approve.
2. Given mgt's guidance regarding the DSMC timeline, my guess is these additional few days are intended to see what the DSMC determined. Just a hunch. I'm hoping Thursday will be a great day.
