A question from somebody with no medical background here. In the S/C trials I’m assuming some patients have underlying health conditions. Hypertension, COPD, diabetes, coronary, etc.
If a patient dies does the FDA automatically attribute the death to CV-19 even if they were severely ill with something else?
Are people with other ailments excluded from the trials?
Just wondering how this works.
