The point being: the trials are supposed to be blinded (very). That is, until un-blinded NOBODY is supposed to know anything.
Dr. Patterson knows as he is measuring the whole enchilada (blood work). What if NP by mistake says something he is not supposed to know because Dr. Patterson confided on him the info ??
