Although,, I believe death totals will be lower than that. Even if death totals reach 300,000, that's only .09% of the country. Don't get me wrong, 300k is terrible, but a far cry from the initial 1 to 2 million that was initially forecasted. Also, this does not account those that are infected but asymptomatic.
COVID is more infectious, no doubt about that. Cases will only Increase as the country opens back up. It's a hard balance.
As you have stated, I hope QMC becomes that beacon of light during these times.
