Im seriously pissed right now. They only submitted a CEPI application on June 3rd? AND they have the gall to "assume" they will have 2 billion in funding by the 15th. How in the holy hell do they expect us to believe CEPI is going to make a $2B decision in 7 business days!! I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. This is freaking malpractice for:
1) taking so long to submit to CEPI (I'm sure most of the BARDA app could have been recycled)
2) slipping in the ludicrous assumption that they can have a decision in 7 business days. This is nothing more than eye candy having no basis in reality especially with a group that knows exactly how long these decisions things take even under the an expedited timeframe.
