I agree with you 100%. The A/S increase was inevitable and, frankly, overdue in my opinion.
CYDY can't expect to uplist, fund trials, launch HIV combo, etc., as you point out, without [b]multiple[/b] strategic options for raising funds when needed. CYDY may never use all of the newly authorized shares (the vote will pass), but it needs to have the option if necessary. Just because you have bullets in the gun doesn't mean you have to fire, but it's not a good idea to go into battle with an unloaded gun.
For the last few months, there has been very little headroom between the authorized share count and issued and outstanding (or reserved) shares. It's just good management practice to address that now and leave room for if/when those shares are needed.
Now let's hope and trust that management also uses those shares judiciously ...
