"Plutarhcy" and "oligarchy" are abstractions, schema of a certain mode of governenace. In the historical world, these schema are mediated by a myriad of historical factors involved in what we generalize by largely meaningless words like 'money' 'few' , 'anti-demoscratic', 'politics' and the likes. In other words, there is no such thing as Plutarchy and Oligarchy, only historical forms of plutarchies and oligarhcies. The story of CYDY is a logical outcome of US plutarchy and oligarchy, which are capitalistic forms of democratic republicanism in contrast to the Chinese authoritative form of state oligarchy or the array of European plutocracies with their long tradition of authoritarianism and tyranny, which this country has never known.
