Would be wonderful if gov't would run a IBD pill P2 for testing on CV patients, with arms dealing for patients with and without IBD problems.
At the least we would get a strong safety profile for it, regardless of how it fares in dealing with CV.
Gov't gets a twofer, getting results from one arm on how the IBD pill works on patients without IBD problems to fend off CV and results from another arm on how patients with IBD problems react to fending off CV AND how their IBD problems react (as in reducing pain and inflammation) to the pill.
