I must confess that my English is not good enough to penetrate the semantic mysteries behind this phrase of another non-native speaker with interest in the exegesis of the Holy al-Quran. I quote:

I wonder if among the esteemed members of this discussion board we have someone with a PhD in English linguistics or in Franz Kafka to offer possible readings of this enigmatic locution.
