You're not wrong but there are much better agents that are frequently used to avoid such clots from occurring.
Aspirin inhibits the ability of platelets to work and there is no reversal agent except a transfusion of more platelets. ICU patients are almost always placed on some form of anti-coagulation due to their increase risk of deep vein thrombus (DVT) from being isolated to a bed and other contributing comorbidities.
