CDiddy,

We are talking cross each other

I have always been referring to the Severe trial P2b/3. This is the one where patients in placebo might die. Therefore I cannot understand why on earth FDA want a placebo cohort.

I wrote a post regarding this before. I don't know the mortality rate, and my point is precisely that this can be easily found out.

There are statistics out there saying it is 80%, there are some from the U.K. and China. However this is not good enough, however, once more, go to any hospital that has treated 100s of patients were you can get and statistic like : in these conditions 78.3% of the patients died (the # is an example, of course).

We have lost near 30000 people already !!!. Need to DO something !!! There is such a thing as Emergency Authorization !!. The drug is SAFE !!! Doctors are using it !!!. It is sorely needed !!!

FDA: run a 390 patients trial with a 4 week readout. I don't want to do the math ... but the number will not be 30000 then ...

Can you understand ??? Or somehow rationalize a good explanation ???

I can't.
