Dr Kelly was a clinician and Co-Medical Director of the Resurgens Spine Center, a subsection of a massive orthopedics practice in Georgia. The Spine Center itself employs more than 20 physicians. He's obviously left a lucrative position to move to Cytodyn.

I wonder if bringing Dr Burger back as interim science officer last fall negatively affected the BLA timeline. I'm sure he was a fantastic doctor in his prime but hearing him during a conference call last year did not inspire confidence as far as him being on the ball in a fast moving situation.
