While I certainly agree with you, in reality the risk is great in any penny or sub penny stock, but likewise the potential reward. If just once or a few times in your life you purchase say $1000 worth of a penny stock, i.e. 100K shares, if it runs up to $1 it will probably be more money then you'd ever invest in many other penny stocks.
The great news is, most penny stocks that reach $1, if they do so on solid reasons for getting there, won't stop at $1. I entered PCTL at under $.007 and I very much like the story they're telling. I really don't believe that if they're not bought out that they couldn't someday reach double, or even triple digit dollars in time.
In this stock much earlier, we were frankly sold a bill of goods, not that it couldn't come true, but the business plan had investors looking for clarifications that were never given. It could still be a success if one or more of it's products prove to be a success. I'm certainly not counting on that, but it's not worth enough to bother selling, at least not till December when I may want a tax loss.
