It goes without saying that anedoctal evidence is unscientific and cannot be used as trial data. Even if Dr. Smith presents all the data you want, you could still question its validity since he’s not running an approved clinical trial. You can only take him at his words. We simply don’t know the actual data so what we say is speculation, not fact. You speculate that he’s not telling the whole story, which is a valid point. I speculate that some of his patients are indeed benefiting from the treatment.
