I just read Dr Lalezari article , and that reminded me articles I read couple of months ago..

He is writing here that during bubonic plaque in Europe in 17 Century , when 60% of European were killed ,
patients with Delta32 mutation were immune to this disease.
And looks that this was true.

So in recent years studies were done if this resistance will happen now to bubonic plaque.

Disease we calling bubonic plaque now is caused by bacteria , Yersenia pestis.

They checked how it is behaving with CCR5 inhibitors ..
And this made no difference , there was no resistance to bubonic plaque..

So conclusion was that the bubonic plaque what they called in 17 Centuries was a different disease that the one we have now , and most probably it was some type of virus , and people with Delta32 mutation were resistant to it and they survived..

And BTW some research showed that this Delta32 mutation probably happened in Europe about 2500 years ago..

For me those are very interesting things..
