Excellent post as usual. But I disagree with the second sentence of your second paragraph. I bet this current situation may be enough of a wake up call that testing of the most promising drugs (if not most of them) will be completed, if not for current need then for future potential use as this will probably not be the last pandemic. And also, as you have noted, for possibly highly effective use with lower side effects. Brilacidin certainly should be one of the drugs on the short list for such testing. A no lose situation for actual shareholders-free testing for an issue not even on the radar a few months ago that brings the drug and company worldwide attention.
And with all of the other science and development still sitting there, poised for movement.
