Well , I dont know Nt2 , I saw many people with/after flu with secondary pneumonia , I know
( never witnessed ) that occasionally some will dye suddenly due to heart involvement .
( myocarditis , pericarditis , arrhythmia , etc )
But I never saw virus attacking patients very fast in a way it is here , that in 7-10 days from unset they need to be on respirator , so sudden and serious lungs involvement .
and some who recover may need oxygen forever , regardless of age...
I never saw patient with flue on the respirator..I am sure it happened , but not like here...
Obviously it is a difference , with so many more dying from flu every year , we never had a need for more ventilators....
