Pharmacologic difference between Prurisol and Abacavir?

Prurisol is an ester of Abacavir. The ester was felt to enhance the immunologic effects of Abacavir through Interleukin 2.

Does Prurisol have any theoretical or practical advantage in treating Coronavirus or are they just biosimilar compounds?
