Dept. Health and Human Services compiled a report (not yet public) suggesting the pandemic impact will last 18 months, with multiple waves.
I’m more optimistic. I believe we’ll find medical ways to stop or prevent many of the deaths much sooner, at which point the fear level will be greatly reduced and much less strain on hospitals.
Will Vyrologix play a role? Time will tell.
But we need more testing. We need to know who has it and who *doesnt* have it. Don’t just test those in the ER who so obviously are in the late stages. We fought and won WW2. It’s insane to me that mass testing hasn’t been rolled out faster. Gotta wait for Oscar Health I guess...
