QMC's continuous flow automatic production technology is not proprietary, it is acquired from the Bayer family in Germany. Any quantum dot producer can implement it. For example nanolumi.com based in Singapore has all technologies of QMC including the automatic continuous flow production technology, it is even more advanced in optical film and in solar film.
It is only a matter of time such production technology will become a norm in the quantum dot industry. Only fierce competition will bring quantum dot price down to a level competitive with the silicon. Capturing the market first before others, especially having an early monopoly in the market is the key to success.
