Pete I have to correct your post that got 7 thumbs up since it appears some people may be confused here. The B Enema was for UP(Proctitis) which is the rectum and UPS(Proctosigmoidtitis) Which is 12-15 inches of the colon(called the Sigmoid).
So B has already successfully Treated Approx. 1/3 of the large intestine with just an enema. That's impressive. If that pill hits the other 2/3 of the colon.
