In general the purpose of a business is to maximize profit and not to charge the highest possible price per se.
It would make no sense for parties involved to sell at prices (like $ 120,000) that will not lead to maximum profit (provided that’s what the business is trying to achieve).
Both parties would “suffer” from setting prices too high. So why should they?
You’re thinking about our partner has become very biased even so to a point where they would act against self interest (from an economical standpoint). Doesn’t make much sense.
