I posted this on the other board, and this is pure speculation on my part.
"An 8-K is required to announce major events relevant to shareholders. Businesses have four business days to file an 8-K for most specified items."
Not to read too much into this, but I found it interesting the company announced the CC after hours on Wed for next Tues, which is four business days later. Kinda of makes me wonder if something special happened on Wed. If so, then I would expect to see a PR and 8-k filed immediately after Tuesday's CC. But, then again, I may be reading too much into this.
