So my response to nuGilead when he mentioned concerns or noninterest in cancer. Searched for it, but could not find it quickly. I will link if I find it, as it is more specific.
But there are some unique ccr5/ccl5 pathways, only through ccr5, which pestell's latest paper points out as well. One is the TAM switch only through ccr5. Also T-Cell activiate is usually tied through HLA-DR, called DR+ if activated. Well they also showed CCR5 activates similar to HLA-DR. So it plays a unique specific role.
