Same old presentation with no new information.
I’m confused and need clarification on the HIV cure study. I understand the study involves leronlimab and a bone marrow transplant in an animal, but how does that translate to a human? I listened twice and I’m sure NP said that conducting a bone marrow transplant isn’t logically in every patient with HIV, but it would be in an HIV patient with cancer? I’m so lost or maybe I didn’t hear him correctly. Or maybe we just have to wait for the study to get published to understand it better.
