That crime wave in that country is out of control. The Government has always been corrupt and has been in the pockets of the cartels for decades.
Nobody is safe. The only way it changes is if the Cartels are completely exterminated, and the US market for illegal drugs is shut down, and the corrupt US politicians aiding the flow of drugs are imprisoned. It’s a bad situation.
I wouldn’t want to be PT negotiating those roads as often as he does.
