I agree completely, trding. And it’s always bothered me immensely that NP has never done that. Sell off Japan, Australia, whatever. Just SECURE THE FINANCIAL FUTURE and keep things moving. I think almost any executive would have done this long ago.
NP’s insistence on holding on to as much value as possible definitely cuts both ways. I appreciate that tenacity, and it’s that tenacity that has leronlimab where it is. There’s no doubt about that. But it also means that we’ve given up a lot - as a company and as shareholders - to gamble on keeping the whole pot of gold. I was discussing this the other night and summed it up as succinctly as I think possible: I don’t believe that NP prices risk.
Time will give hints as to whether that’s a wise course of action or not, but I think most of us would have preferred a little bit more risk management along the way.
