Well , Descovy is change from Truvada that they gave smaller dose of Tenofovir , which is quite toxic , BTW I believe that from all HAART Tonofovir producing the most fibrosis of the liver..and 70% of multi drug tabl , HAART contain Tenofovir.
All together with Descovy just a little less side effects , but there are still very serious side effects..
And both Truvada and Descovy need to be taken daily , and are not working in resistant HIV , and patient might become resistant.
Couple of months ago I read that 7 patients taking Truvada as PrED are now HIV positive.
All together I don't like the new once a month or once every two months injectable . They might have serious side effects , and then side effects becoming long acting .
Also don't cover resistant patients..
If you be interested my post 6362 I wrote about problems we see with this treatment.
I think patients and we investors are very lucky , I am looking , and looking and I have difficult time to find problems with Leronlimab....
