The company did not say to expect a press release this week. There is no reason to think that the company would be stupid enough to release important information during a week when lots of the head honchos and other decision-makers for hedge funds etc. are on vacation.

However, setting up false deadlines, then lamenting the company "missing" those deadlines the company never set -- that's a classic tactic.
