SAP is a huge multinational company but I think headquartered in Germany. They have been growing and acquiring other companies such as CallidusCloud that you mention.
SAP is definitely more aligned with CRM than Microsoft and Oracle. I don't know enough about Salesforce since I never heard of them before investing in VERB.
For sure SAP would be a great company to partner with, it is a very large company in terms of annual revenue.
Also I found before the acquisition, SAP and CallidusCloud had a strategic partnership and OEM agreement, so that's interesting and evidently they decided eventually to just acquire CallidusCloud: https://www.calliduscloud.com/partners/sap
