The reverse split talk is a result of fearmongering elsewhere some trying to claim we are in danger of being delisted if the share price does not increase.
As Rory pointed out that is untrue, the share price has to drop below $1 for a fairly long period of time, then the company gets a notification from NASDAQ that the share price needs to get above $1 in some other period of time, or else get delisted.
Indeed, I don't think any true long is worried about the share price going under $1 even for a day, let along long enough to trigger the "delisting warning".
I assume it was to try and squash this nonsense idea, but I would like to hope not too many people thought that a possibility.
