Why even do this?
To rant, to call out every BWer, to post DD, share life lesson or to pass it forward?
I tried so hard so hard to write each one better than the last
I tried so hard and got so far
In the end, it doesn't even matter to me
Does it even matter to you?
Some of you know the answers, some will figure it out, some will never know.
No big deal either way
Was done at season 2, but had one more reason, for another season
Life throws you a curve

Not just watched it, but binged watched it
This is the first show I ever did that
I don't like addiction
Everything around me, you, us, is setup to be addictive
I've been in this business to create it
I can see it, it's use now, and fight hard to oppose it
Most people will never see it

They hire people to reel you in like a fish on a hook
That sounds pretty sick, but people think they have a fighting chance on the end of a rod and when in a net
If you think there are only 3 people that work at some of these social places you are naive. These are multi billion dollar enterprises that got you
Kind of like the slot machine that never seems to pay off but the story of the lady next to me 5 days ago won a fortune
I've learned I cannot help people
I can only educate
It's the only reason why I post
My wife likes to eat a chocolate bar, as few bites as possible
I like to do the opposite, as every bite taste just as good
Different strokes for married folks
What if we weren't married
What if there was a message board for how you should eat chocolate?
What if someone was going to take away all my chocolate if I didn't comply?
What if chocolate supply was going to disappear?
What if people spend 24x7 saying chocolate was poison?
Get the fubar they try to attempt on every stock they can find naive investors that didn't do their homework?
The OA expanded my thinking
What if everyday seemed hopeless?
What if someone try to alter my perspective?
What if they would profit from me giving in?
What if I was held captive to another force?
What if someone was trying to make my life hopeless?
What if I was trying to make it hapless?
Compliant?
Break me?
Would I quit?
What would quitting really mean in that context?
When I watch the show, I put myself in it
I put myself in everything
No sideline watcher
I'm not a quitter
I know I have an impact in the outcome
Not sure why others let the winds of change determine their destiny
Nothing good in life has ever, ever come from a lazyboy
I see patterns
I see more than the average bear, even if you took away my internet for years
They didn't have the internet
They thought me
Never let someone alter what you know
Never let someone change what you believe
Never let someone change what you feel
Never let someone control you
Never let someone have the upper hand
Last one is a bit of revenge factor
Never let someone, never let you forget
At this point, my kids would be very proud of their old man
How hard a tried to educate
How I let confrontation go and they know that is not easy for me
How I trusted in who we are
Me, my family and my friends

One's own instincts
Even letting go one's worst fears
Even letting go one's worst nightmares
Not easy to do or even watch
Teach our kids all of the above
Bet they already know it
Let go of the nonsense and trust your instincts
We live in a controlling society
You are kidding yourself if you don't think you are being controlled
Never let someone else control what you believe
People change, but probably not about chocolate or pizza
Don't get me started on my love for pizza like Rory
If the dinner in Las Vegas would have been pizza, that would have been just as special, if not more

Maybe the pretend Vegas BWer in the fancy car needs it more than they let on

You know, that was the dude that lived in Vegas that didn't have the "time" to go the Oracle conference nor to meet anyone.

Anyone that brags about the cars they have or drive here might be faking just like the dudes on twitter
Doesn't take much to pretend
So sad all the pretenders get everyone worked up
They try to get their 15 minutes of fame and people give them a year
Back to Rory and me as it's all about us
Now think about why two people that don't need it do it
Why do some very famous sports figures come back?
Not to enter into any political debate but why do some do what they do?
You could all say ego
If I had one, I would have done better in life, so cross that off the list
I know of no other CEO that cares so much about their shareholders
That is rare
That is how I ran my company and my teams
It's missing quite often

The one thing that helped me to be successful in life
Was helping everyone around me

Expected to go backwards in life

I see people flipping out two days after they were doing cartwheels and I have to wonder why

If you create a list a year ago with everything you'd hope VERB would accomplish, did they meet or exceed it?
They did for me
People ask me how to do the same level of DD
I've seen others here do it
The first step is letting go
You can fill up your time and mind with reading and worry about crap
Or focus
When you do focus, even somethings right in front of you take on new meaning
No longer in the forest, but now can see the trees

I did too until my kids moved out

I've watched VERB crammed into tight quarters for over a year
Why?
Because they were trying to perserve $
Not for them but for all of us co-owners
I've watched other startups just go whole hog on their digs
VERB didn't
Now time to read between the lines
Current corporate headquarters is approximately 2,800 square feet
In February VERB signed a lease for 4,900 square feet of new construction space
In the Video Rory said 8,000-8,200 square feet for the Newport Beach offices
"Verb will also open an 8,000-square-foot office in Newport Beach, its third in addition to the newly acquired Utah outpost."
"CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story, misstated Verb Technology Co.’s original share price, new office location and opening date. The company’s initial public offering share price was $3.14 per share, and it will open its Newport Beach office in July."

Watching a guy sawing logs last week
All sorts of curve balls when you want to do something as simple as saw a frigg'n log
15:20 - I think his daughter walks in. Listen to what she says a few minutes later
15:30 - He schools BWers
"When things blow up, you don't get irritated, but you fix the problem and you move on"
I think at the 17:29 mark and on you can hear his daughter again
Totally priceless
Skip it all and go to 18:30 and learn a life lesson
