This solemn holiday is ONLY to remember those who lost their lives in battle so that we can enjoy the freedoms that we do, Boo. Veterans Day is November 11 every year. That day is set aside to honor living vets and current military, NOT Memorial Day. You should know that very well being a Navy vet. Thank you for your service to our country, but this holiday isn't about those of us who survived. It's to honor those who didn't.
